Bella Scott couldn't help but laugh.
She wholeheartedly wanted to help Edward Anderson, but he just seemed to think she was being nosy. That damn man, even hanging up on her!
"He's just worried about you," Cecelia Anderson heard the conversation between Edward and Bella just now.
"In my opinion, he's just being a chauvinist who likes to shoulder everything alone. He was like this before and is still like this now. He'll definitely be like this in the future as well," Bella said, still angry.
Or maybe Edward simply didn't trust her.
"Okay, you like him even with his chauvinism. Are you going to dislike him or not want him just because he's like that?" Cecelia laughed.
Bella didn't have a comeback for that.
Later, she thought that Cecelia had a point. Even with all his flaws, she liked Edward, and she would be smitten with him for the rest of her life.
"To be honest, I feel like I like him more than he likes me now. No choice, I just can't help it," Bella said helplessly.
