Ever since marrying Kassidy Dean, Martez Parkerr took her back to Philadelphia once, but then he seemed to have vanished from the face of the earth. Perhaps he wasn't worried about Kassidy being snatched away by other men and therefore felt secure?
"He's been quite busy lately; it seems that there's something wrong with his company." Edward Anderson's statement attracted Kassidy's attention.
She couldn't sit still and leaned in to ask, "Can Martez handle it?"
"He's been through storm and stress all these years, so it shouldn't be a big problem." Edward Anderson replied in a mild tone.
But it wasn't that simple.
Not only were there traitors within the Parkers, but they had also joined forces with other companies. So far, Martez only found out that the person collaborating with the Parkers came from West Grove, but the exact identity was still unknown.
"Should I go to Philadelphia to see Martez?" Kassidy was momentarily at a loss.
