As it turned out, Bella Scott was right again.
When she woke up in the middle of the night, she found the bed empty and Edward Anderson nowhere to be found.
Blinking at the ceiling, she counted the hours, and around five o'clock, the man returned, quickly jumped back into bed, and pulled her into his arms.
She originally intended to confront him, but she felt sorry for him sneaking around at night. Although she wasn't sure what secretive things he was doing, she just felt sorry for him running around during the best hours of sleep.
She also knew she was becoming increasingly pathetic.
Perhaps she should make him some nourishing soup to strengthen his body. His nighttime escapades would wear down even the strongest body. She didn't want him to age prematurely, only hoping for his good health.
After work the next day, Bella Scott mentioned she wanted to make a male invigorating tonic soup, which made Cecelia Anderson and Kassidy Dean look askance at her.
