"Silly girl, are you still on his side? If he respected you, he wouldn't be entangled with Evelina. And if he respected you, even if he wanted a divorce, he wouldn't just send a divorce agreement and not show up." Kassidy Dean said a long string of words in one breath, somewhat emotionally.
That's no way to treat someone.
"I just think his attitude has changed too abruptly. Last time, he traveled a long way to find me overseas and explained so much to me. How could he get entangled with Evelina so quickly? And, I don't think Evelina is better than me in any way, nor do I think Wayne Adams would be smitten by her and leave me for her." Cecelia Anderson expressed her thoughts.
"Men change their minds without reason; only you are naive enough to still believe him." Kassidy Dean scoffed.
Bella Scott, on the other hand, felt that Cecelia Anderson's words made some sense.
