Bella Scott's words brought a hint of a smile to Edward Anderson's face.
He glanced in Wayne Adams' direction and lightly replied, "Not at all."
Bella leaned into his warm embrace, "Your arms make me feel secure. Men change faces too quickly, but you won't..."
She rambled on for a while, realizing Edward hadn't said a word.
Following his gaze, she found him staring intently at Wayne Adams, utterly absorbed.
"Why are you looking at Wayne Adams with such loving eyes?" Bella adjusted his chin to face her, "You can only look at me like that..."
Before she could finish, Edward suddenly kissed her, finally silencing her.
They kissed obliviously for a while, only to notice that everyone around them had stopped talking and socializing and was now watching them.
Bella gave a radiant smile, "Sorry, we couldn't help ourselves."
Her gaze swept over the crowd, eventually settling on Benjamin Abbot's face.
