Bella Scott told herself that she must trust Edward Anderson and not make the same mistakes as before. So she also told herself that even if he avoided her phone calls, it was only because he didn't want her to worry about the Anderson family matters.

"Baby, you stay and watch the kids. I don't trust Kassidy Dean with the children, Charles is back in Philadelphia, and there's no one to watch the twins tonight. How can I be at ease?"
Edward's voice seemed to have the power to soothe people's hearts.
