"I'm here to see you. Since you're my daughter-in-law, you're like half my daughter. I'm not planning to go back to Philadelphia anytime soon, and I have nowhere to stay. So, I wanted to stay with my daughter for a few days. What do you think?" Janae Smith revealed with a beaming smile.
Upon hearing this, Bella Scott became uneasy.
This was Edward Anderson's mother, and she couldn't just send her away.
"Um, I've got to use the restroom. Let's talk more when I come out." Scared, Bella grabbed her phone and hid in the bathroom.
She hastily called Edward Anderson and told him the situation: "You need to come back, I can't handle your mom!"
"My mom came to see you?" Edward sounded a bit surprised.
"She's at my place right now and says she wants to stay for a few days." Bella unconsciously lowered her voice, fearing that Janae Smith might overhear and start a conflict.
"Don't worry, my mom won't eat you alive. I'm coming over now." Edward hung up the phone.
