Charles White even anticipated Edward Anderson's tactics.
He knew Edward would spend the night at Bella Scott's, and Edward would surely find a way to lure Bella away. So, he had to get to her before Edward did.
And sure enough, he guessed right!
The two of them chatted and laughed all the way, quickly arriving at the apartment building.
As soon as Bella entered, she heard the sound of children's laughter and Edward's voice.
"How are you here before me?" Bella was a little surprised.
Edward smiled faintly, "Perhaps I'm just eager to return."
His gaze fixed on Charles, greeting him casually, "You're here?"
"Yeah, I was free anyway, so I just brought Bella home." Charles glanced around the room, his eyes finally locking on Jessica Scott.
He went over to the little girl, marveling at the mini-version of Bella and thinking how amazing it was that nature could create such an identical copy of Bella.
"Hi, Uncle." Jessica greeted him politely.
