Lucas Hutt took a quick glance at Bella Scott, then at Edward Anderson. There was no eye contact between the two. His intuition told him that it was impossible for Bella and Edward to be talking about marriage.
The two didn't look like lovers in a passionate relationship at all. Not only was there no eye contact, but Bella didn't even look at Edward.
But there must be some reason for their consistent statements.
"If anyone wants to drink, just come to me. Bella doesn't like socializing and doesn't enjoy the dinner party etiquette," Edward announced loudly.
With his call, everyone seemed to forget about their plans to make the couple drink together.
This time, everyone had a tacit understanding.
Edward's base was not in West Grove, to be honest, people didn't have much of a feeling towards him. Even if he was covering the sky with one hand in Philadelphia, there was always a higher sky in West Grove.
