To everyone's surprise, Edward Anderson slept the entire morning away, unable to be woken up, as if he were dead. If it weren't for his faint snoring, Bella Scott would have thought he was faking it.
Tina Hernandez came in more than once during that time, each time looking at Edward's face with a mix of love and hate. Of course, the hate was directed at Bella Scott.
At noon, Edward woke up groggily.
He glanced at his wristwatch: "It's almost twelve o'clock. I might as well have lunch before I leave."
Bella really wanted to ask if he was doing this on purpose. However, the exhaustion in the corners of his eyes couldn't possibly be faked, so he must have been really tired, right?
And so, Edward stayed to have lunch with Bella before leaving the office.
As soon as Edward left, Tina stormed into Bella's office and demanded: "Are you trying to show me who's boss using this method?!"
