Tina Hernandez couldn't forgive herself for being unable to distinguish the true from the false of the man she loves the most, let alone being played emotionally and physically. How was she supposed to face this cruel reality?
Fearing that Tina might do something rash, Easton Hernandez escorted her home and dared not leave her side. Even when Tina fell asleep, he stayed by her bedside, worrying that she might do something foolish when he wasn't looking.
When Linda Stuart entered the room, she saw Easton with a worried expression.
"What's wrong with Tina?" she asked.
Easton sneered, "Does Mom even care about Tina?"
He thought that if Linda cared more about Tina, perhaps this mess wouldn't have happened.
"What on earth happened?!" Linda's brow furrowed, and her eyes turned cold.
Easton didn't want to tell the truth, nor did he want Linda to laugh at their siblings' misfortune. Telling Linda would only make her blame Tina for her poor judgement, wouldn't it?
