Seeing Kassidy Dean and Jessica ignoring each other, Bella Scott asked curiously, "What's wrong with you two?"
Kassidy and Jessica, very in sync, answered at the same time, "Nothing."
"Elora has a crush on Uncle Parker and wants me to be her matchmaker." Jessica decided to take the offensive.
"Don't listen to her nonsense. I know Uncle Parker likes men; how could I have any improper thoughts about him?" Kassidy hurriedly explained.
Jessica's lies became more and more outrageous, leaving Kassidy in utter disbelief.
"Elora is after Uncle Parker's money, saying she wants to swindle him to get his money if she can't have him." Jessica was quick-witted and fast to respond.
Seeing Kassidy's blushing and frustrated face, Bella sympathized deeply, "You've really had a hard time these years."
Having such a mischievous kid around who could twist black into white was no easy feat.
