When Kassidy learned of Bella Scott's death, she, of course, couldn't take Jessica back to her homeland. Each time Jessica brought up going back to find her mother, Kassidy would make excuses to evade the topic.
She never expected that the child would leave home on her own to return to their country at such a young age.
She held on to the faint hope that the child was too young to board a plane, but after searching everywhere, she still couldn't find any trace of Jessica, and her heart grew cold.
Later, she contacted airport staff, claiming her child was missing and wanted to review the surveillance footage.
Upon examining the footage, Jessica indeed came to the airport. But whether she boarded the plane wasn't captured.
