When Edward Anderson returned to Cherden Hotel, the receptionist approached him and said respectfully, "Mr. Anderson, your phone was unreachable. Someone has been waiting here to see you."
The receptionist showed Edward the way.
Seeing Kaila Nelson, Edward was a bit surprised.
If it wasn't important, Kaila wouldn't have come all the way here. Had something big happened?
"Mr. Anderson, I have found something very important, so I flew to West Grove. I need to tell you about it in person." Kaila was emotional.
Edward rarely saw Kaila so excited.
Kaila looked at Kedrick Baker standing nearby, implying that she hoped he would leave them alone.
Kedrick touched his nose indifferently, "Edward and I are good buddies and friends. What could he have to tell me that I can't hear?"
Under Edward's gaze, Kedrick compromised, "If it's a business secret, I should step away."
