Bella Scott was waiting for the elevator when someone came up and the person who came out of the elevator was Tariq Lane.
After Bella regained her memory, this was the first time she had seen Tariq face to face.
When the two met, they were at a loss for words.
There was a time when Tariq was Bella's most hated person, unequivocally. He constantly hurt Cecelia Anderson and took pride in it, which was the scummiest behavior she couldn't tolerate.
But it was Tariq, who had been merciful and let Cindy off back then.
"It seems you're leaving, too." Tariq looked at the luggage in Bella's hand, his expression hazy.
