The old woman smiled and looked at Brynn, who was crying quietly. "You two have always been so close since you were little, barely ever fighting. It's been such a long time since Bella visited this old lady, and Brynn never mentioned Bella either. I guessed that there must have been some conflict between you two."
She motioned for Brynn to come closer. "Brynn, come here..."
Brynn felt that in recent days, her grandma's speech had never been as coherent as today. She approached the old woman hesitantly, whose hand held hers and placed it on top of Bella's.
"You two should be good to each other, be really good to each other..."
Perhaps the old woman wanted to say more, but it was no longer important. She fell into a peaceful sleep, free from the torment of illness.
