Wayne Adams was afraid that something might happen to Cecelia; he called Bella Scott first. However, her phone was turned off, and he couldn't get through.
He then dialed Edward Anderson's number, which did go through, but it was Randy Hill who answered the call.
He got straight to the point, informing Edward that Cecelia's situation was critical and urging him to return to Philadelphia no matter what.
After hearing the news, Randy approached the entertaining Edward and relayed Cecelia's critical condition.
"Let's go back to Philadelphia immediately." Edward lost his mood for entertaining and hurried with Randy to the airport to fly back to Philadelphia overnight.
When they arrived, only Wayne was waiting outside the ICU. Kaelin wasn't there, and neither was Bella Scott.
"How is Cecelia doing?" Edward anxiously peered through the glass window at Cecelia, who was unconscious.
