Bella Scott hurriedly called the little one over: "I'll explain later, we need to keep this from your aunt first."
Cindy had a confused look on her face, not understanding the situation.
At that moment, Cecelia Anderson came in with water. Bella winked at Cindy, who got the hint: "Mom just took some medicine."
"Can you swallow it without water?" Cecelia didn't doubt her, but was a bit puzzled.
Bella immediately took the water cup and drank half a glass. "The medicine is quite strong, I feel so sleepy."
Cecelia tucked her in and left the bedroom to work in the kitchen.
When Cecelia left, Cindy frowned and asked: "Why are we lying to Auntie?"
"Your aunt is a chatterbox, and she'll nag if I don't take the medicine. Mom is fine, don't worry." Bella really felt tired and spoke to Cindy for a while before feeling sleepy again.
Maybe she should go to the hospital for a pregnancy check-up; she couldn't delay it any longer.
