Throughout the meal, Edward Anderson deliberately observed Bella Scott watching Charles White with such openness and no trace of affection anymore.
Her emotions were always shown openly. When she liked Charles, it was obvious, and she would have loved to tell the whole world. When she no longer liked Charles, her gaze no longer held any admiration for him.
Charles was slightly dazed for a moment and then forced a smile: "Someday, I'll make her fall for me again, I still have a chance."
"Are you fooling me, or fooling yourself?" Edward opened the car door: "The Bella Scott who once liked you has long been thrown away by you, and you'll never be able to pick her back up."
Charles got out of the car with a confused look on his face, watching Edward's car drive away before he quickly turned back towards the restaurant.
Just as Bella was coming out of the restaurant, Charles suddenly rushed over, grabbing her arm and dragging her away.
