Edward Anderson noticed right away that Bella Scott had eaten too little. He raised an eyebrow: "You've only had half a bowl of rice."
This was definitely not Bella Scott's normal appetite.
Bella was caught off-guard. He had been talking to Charles White and hadn't even looked at her properly. How did he know she'd only eaten half a bowl of rice?
"I'm full," she weakly replied, afraid that Edward would discover her stomach issues.
Edward looked at her evasive eyes: "What have you done that makes you afraid to look at me?"
This woman couldn't hide guilty deeds. Whenever she felt guilty, she couldn't even give him a straight look, just like the last time when she found out that Cindy was actually her biological son. Her reaction was the same as it is now.
That's right, she only avoided his gaze when something significant happened.
So what had she done this time that was so unforgivable?
