Cecelia kept it brief, omitting some important details, and simply said she met him when Wayne bought a painting. They didn't have a deep relationship, so Edward shouldn't worry.
"Don't underestimate Wayne. He's a bit sinister. He doesn't get along with Tariq, and I'm afraid he might drag you down with him. You need to be careful not to be taken advantage of," Edward advised.
Cecelia agreed wholeheartedly. Once Edward left, she was eager to leave the restaurant as well. However, Tariq suddenly appeared.
"Tariq, if you hadn't shown up, Cecelia and I would've gone and booked a room," Wayne said, provoking Tariq to want to hit him.
Tariq fixed his gaze on Cecelia's face: "I thought you were an adult who knew your boundaries. I didn't expect you to still be so clueless. Do you really think being with this bastard will provoke me?!"
