Edward Anderson stood at the door, looking at Bella Scott, his eyes deep and profound.
Bella's legs felt weak, her mind blank. He hadn't been asleep at all; he had fooled her.
After a long stare, Edward finally came in, took her hand, and dragged her back to the master bedroom.
She quietly followed him, noticing the smile on his lips, completely devoid of the previous coldness.
He had clearly seen her wanting to take birth control pills and had changed his expression, yet now, in the blink of an eye, he had returned to normal.
People say women are fickle, but in her opinion, Edward's ability to change his face was faster than the weather.
"It's getting colder. Don't walk barefoot anymore to avoid catching a cold." Edward gently wiped her feet and tucked her into the warm quilt. "From now on, you won't need Cindy to warm the bed. I will take care of it."
