"Let's eat first, I'm hungry." Bella Scott's eyes shifted.
She thought she had always been innocent and had never done anything to betray Edward Anderson. Only now did she realize that she not only had a teenage romance but also had a child out of wedlock. She gave birth to the child and then lost him.
She had completely forgotten such a significant event.
She didn't know how to talk to Edward Anderson about it.
She couldn't even bring herself to say it.
Edward was no longer aggressive and led her by the hand to the washbasin. He carefully helped her clean her hands, and as he looked up, he met Bella's scrutinizing eyes.
