"Happy?" Tariq Lane's voice shattered Kallie's drifting thoughts.
Kallie grinned brightly: "Thinking that Edward Anderson will soon be dumped by Bella Scott makes me happy."
Tariq's expression was cold as he walked to the window and lit a cigarette, trying to shake off his anxious mood. What flashed before his eyes was the shocked expression of Cecelia Anderson just now.
She was surprised, but not sad or upset - it seemed as though she had already become accustomed to the fact that he and Kallie were together.
"Smoke less!" Kallie scolded Tariq as she saw the room filling with smoke.
It was as if Tariq hadn't heard her. He continued to smoke for a few more minutes before she rushed up and snatched the cigarette out of his hand, breaking it in half.
Unexpectedly, Tariq immediately lit another cigarette and started smoking again.
Kallie's temper flared, and she yelled at Tariq: "If you want to smoke, get out and do it!"
