Cindy stopped crying when she heard Bella's words, and just blinked her teary eyes at Bella. The look of wanting to cry but not crying made Bella feel unbearable.
She looked away and continued, "Eat breakfast first. I've already informed the orphanage, and we'll take you there later."
Cindy obediently went back to the dining table and ate breakfast. When she finished, she put down her chopsticks and looked at Bella.
Bella felt guilty and did not dare to look at Cindy. She took Cindy's hand, "Let's go."
She thought that Cindy was a lucky child and liked her very much, but she did not have the courage to adopt her.
"Does mommy not like me?" Cindy finally spoke up after getting in the car.
"You're smart and well-behaved, and good-looking. Cindy, I like you very much." Bella replied hastily.
