"So you saw it clearly? Tell me, who could possibly make you so surprised?" Cecelia's interest was piqued even more.
"Maybe it's a naughty child from the neighboring house." Bella Scott said hesitantly, suspecting that she might have been seeing things.
She rushed to the kitchen, but saw no such child.
Among all the people dining in the restaurant, there were only adults, and no traces of children could be found.
Cecelia was taken aback, then burst into laughter: "You're saying a child was the one peeking at you?"
Bella also found it funny: "Maybe I'm being too paranoid. Let's not talk about it, let's eat. After all, it's someone else's treat, so it'd be a waste not to."
The two of them quickly finished all the dishes on the table.
It had to be said that all the dishes were very delicious, and the portions were just right, satisfying their appetites without making them feel too full.
