Cecelia got in the car and sat there, dazed for a while, before finally coming back to reality.
Her phone kept ringing, and she saw the incoming call was from Bella Scott.
"Cecelia, listen to me, Tariq Lane has an ulterior motive, he doesn't really want to get engaged to you, don't be foolish..."
"Everyone has to be foolish once in their lives. If one day I give up on Tariq completely, I'll let go of this baby." Cecelia replied calmly.
Maybe, she'd also let go of herself along with the baby.
Bella was so anxious, pacing around, shouting, "He said he wants to get engaged to you just to get back at Edward Anderson. Do you know that the woman Tariq loves is coming back to the country?"
Cecelia looked out the window, "I know, he told me. He doesn't love me, he's using me, and the woman he loves is coming back. I know all of this. You can scold me for being foolish, pathetic, and weak. But it won't change my decision."
