Bella Scott punched Edward Anderson's leg: "How come you're getting more and more narcissistic?"
He had never seemed serious in front of her.
"Tell me, where in Philadelphia can you find a man as outstanding as me? Bella Scott, don't doubt it, marrying Edward Anderson is a blessing from your past life." Edward Anderson gently caressed Bella's ringed wedding finger, the corners of his lips slightly raised: "Haven't you noticed that since you put on the wedding ring, you've never taken it off? This shows that you didn't take marriage as a child's play."
Even if they had agreed before the wedding that this was just a temporary marriage, to end after a year, he had never given her any sense of security.
Bella looked at her wedding ring, thought carefully for a while, and then said hesitantly, "This wedding ring is quite valuable. I got nothing from marrying you, so I should at least keep it. If I pawn it in the future, it should be worth some small change at least."
