Edward Anderson gently patted Elyssa Scott's shoulder, his smile even more charming: "Can you handle this?"
Even though Elyssa was good at hiding her emotions, she was shocked by Edward's words.
Did Edward see through her plan and was intentionally warning her not to meddle in his affairs?
Her mind was in turmoil, uncertain of how to respond.
"If you don't say anything, I'll take it as a yes. I'll be waiting for your good news." Edward finished and got into the car.
The car Edward was riding in quickly disappeared into the pouring rain at the end of the street.
Elyssa also got into her car, unsure whether or not to leak the big news about Edward Anderson and Bella Scott's separation to the media.
Originally, this was a perfect opportunity for Bella to fall from grace, and Elyssa wanted to take full advantage of it. But she couldn't figure out Edward's intentions. Was he just bluffing?
