Edward reacted the fastest. Without hesitation, he threw Brynn at Bella: "I've always said Brynn can't be trusted. She actually snuck into my room to steal something. Since she's your friend, I won't hold this against her. Just tell her to leave!"
Luckily, the soundproofing was good in his bedroom, and since Brynn had locked the door earlier, Bella shouldn't have heard their conversation.
