If Bella Scott hadn't overheard the conversation between Brynn Williams and Edward Anderson, she might have told Brynn about the current state of her marriage with Edward.
But at the moment, she didn't want to say anything.
"If he dares to play around with other women, I'll cut off his balls!" Bella replied nonchalantly.
"All talk. Tell me, ever since you guys became adults, has there ever been a time when you weren't completely under Edward's control?" Brynn sneered quietly.
"Back then, didn't someone say that Edward was a good man? How come people change their opinions so quickly?" Bella retorted back.
Brynn was at a loss for words, as that was something she had once said.
"Let's sleep, I'm sleepy." Bella turned off the bedside lamp.
"Bella, if one day you found out I did something unforgivable to you, would you still want to be my friend?" In the darkness, Brynn's ethereal voice could be heard.
