That night, Edward Anderson surprisingly didn't touch Bella Scott and they slept peacefully together.
Of course, the next morning, the sarcastic and impatient Edward Anderson returned.
Bella took a bit longer than usual to get ready, which annoyed him.
Out of defiance, she went even slower, taking nearly half an hour to get ready.
When she finally came out of the bathroom, she saw Edward with a dark face, and Lina Wilson holding a tie, seemingly trying to help him with it.
Bella pretended not to notice and wanted to leave the bedroom.
"Bella, come and help me with my tie," Edward's voice came from behind her.
Bella ignored him and walked quickly out of the bedroom.
She heard Edward's hurried footsteps behind her. Her heart raced, and she hurried down the stairs.
Her pace was fast, but Edward had longer legs and quickly blocked her way: "Help me with my tie, didn't you hear?!"
Lina also chased downstairs, panting, still holding Edward's tie in her hand.
