"Edward hates me, and I hate him too. Why would he come to the Scotts to protect me? Mom is being overly concerned." Bella Scott still felt that she shouldn't be wishful thinking.
"How could Edward possibly hate you when he doesn't even have enough time to like you?" Mila Gray retorted.
"If he doesn't hate me, why would he flee from our arranged marriage?" Bella Scott paused and continued, "Anyway, I know he hates me. There's no doubt about that!"
