Charles White hadn't expected Elyssa Scott to agree so readily, feeling quite surprised.
"I've thought carefully about the night my sister was drugged. The situation was chaotic, and when I saw you with my sister, I was jealous and blamed her for everything. But when I calmed down, I knew I was wrong. I should trust my sister's character. Don't worry, I won't lose my temper with you for no reason again." Elyssa said, gripping Charles' hand: "You can't lose your temper with me either. Last time you yelled at me, I was heartbroken for several days."
"Kallie, it's my fault." Charles felt a little guilty.
The more generous and considerate Elyssa was, the more tormented he felt; he would rather have her lose her temper with him.
After all, his heart was leaning towards Bella Scott, an indisputable fact.
He couldn't be indecisive in the future, let alone be bewitched by Bella. After marrying Elyssa, he should be able to completely let go of Bella, right?
