When they saw the entangled couple, everyone's mouths gaped open as if they'd discovered a new world.
Fearing that her identity would be exposed by the many onlookers, Bella Scott, in desperation, ripped open Edward Anderson's shirt and used it to cover her face, revealing only her large, ink-black eyes, which were incredibly lively.
The onlookers gasped again.
No wonder they say that every creature has its downfall - even Edward Anderson, a cunning fox, has his share of embarrassing moments, huh?
After covering her face, Bella felt quite awkward as well...
Edward glanced at the woman who was trying to keep a low profile, a glimmer of cunning flashing in his eyes.
He turned back to the busybodies at the door with a lazy smile, "Seen enough?"
"Mr. Anderson, please continue, we won't bother you anymore." Although they hadn't had enough fun, no one dared to keep watching, given Mr. Anderson's lascivious prowess.
Once the door was closed, everyone started gossiping. One of the dandy playboys said, "Those eyes look familiar, I think I've seen them somewhere before."
"I think so too," another chimed in.
After some discussion, they still couldn't figure out who the woman was.
As for the couple in the bedroom, they pushed each other away in unison as soon as the door closed.
Bella jumped off the bed and walked around the room, shaking her head and clicking her tongue, "Your life is getting more and more exciting."
Edward said nothing, just calmly lit a cigarette and smoked.
Bella turned back when she smelled the smoke, and was immediately met with the sight of the man smoking. She couldn't deny that he was quite handsome.
"There's no one else here. Who are you trying to impress with your sexiness?" Bella gave Edward a sideways glare, clearly irritated by him.
Edward approached Bella, and she thought he was going to whisper something to her. She perked up her ears to listen, but that bastard Edward just blew a cloud of smoke in her face.
Choking, she coughed a few times before finally catching her breath, and angrily pointed at Edward's high nose, "Edward, why are you so vile?!"
Edward blew another puff of smoke her way, and Bella dodged it, wanting to flee the room but remembering the crowd outside.
She changed her direction and dashed towards the balcony, peeked at the ground below. It wasn't too high; even if she fell, she probably wouldn't die.
"Bella, what are you trying to do?!" Edward caught on to her intentions, and quickly rushed over to try and pull her back.
Bella paid no heed to him and gracefully leaped down.
Edward swiftly ran to the railing, looked down and saw that Bella had only leaped onto the balcony below.
A cold look flashed in his eyes as he stared at her.
Bella looked up, showed her little finger to Edward, and motioned downwards, "Edward, you petty man!"

Thus, the unexpected encounter with Edward Anderson was tossed to the back of Bella's mind. If possible, she didn't want anything to do with him for the rest of her life.
It was Saturday, and Bella had been running around all day. Exhausted, she took a quick shower at the hotel, changed into her pajamas, and crawled into bed.
As she slept fitfully, she felt like there was someone next to her, even hugging her and trying to burrow into her embrace.
Subconsciously, she thought she was at home: "Mom, stop bothering me..."
