There was one thing Bella Scott was certain of: Edward Anderson could never be Tariq Lane, as he wouldn't treat her so lightly.
That night, the two women talked for a long time, not going to bed until two in the morning.
The next morning, as soon as Bella stepped out of the door, she saw Edward, her first instinct was to turn around and try to hide back inside.
Seeing her trying to hide, Edward's lips curled up in amusement and teased, "Darling, are you really that shy when you see me?"
She had never avoided him before.
Bella clenched her fists, turned around and growled, "I'm not any sweetheart, and don't call me like that again!"
She was supposed to be a tomboy!!
"You're my little sweetheart, so why can't I call you that?" Edward stepped forward, hooked his arm around her neck and lightly scraped her face, "Is the girl blushing?"
"You must be blind, which eye can see me blushing?" Bella shoved Edward away, "I'm not familiar with you!"
