Bella Scott had just gotten into Tariq Lane's car when he reached out and touched her short hair.
She reacted quickly, slapping his hand away: "I'm not friends with you, don't be handsy with me!"
Every time she thought of Tariq treating Cecelia like this, Bella couldn't bring herself to have any good feelings towards him, but Tariq just seemed to feel friendly automatically.
Tariq smiled: "After all these years, you're still just as grumpy, not changing at all."
"Aren't we going to pick her up? Hurry up and drive." Bella yawned as she spoke, getting her out of bed at this time was utterly immoral.
Strangest of all, why was Tariq coming to find her just before Cecelia was arriving? How was he so sure she would go to the airport with him?
"No rush, there's still some time before she arrives. Let's do this, I'll take you to get something to eat first." Tariq said calmly.
"Seeing your face, I can't eat, let's just go to the airport now." Bella looked coldly at Tariq.
