She had never existed merely to rely on him. Even with an ordinary family background and being subjected to ridicule and mockery, she had always maintained her pride.
And wasn't it her uncompromising personality that had attracted him in the first place?
"You mean, you want to work in the future?" He suddenly asked after a while.
She nodded: "Yes."
"You don't want to start a business or work under someone else, but to be by my side, right?"
"Mhm." She nodded. At least, until she was completely familiar with the norms of the business world, she wouldn't act rashly. She wanted to learn something and support herself with her own hands, instead of blindly venturing out and wasting money without making any progress.
