Mrs. Smith was startled by his outburst and hesitated for a moment. She recalled that Robert Thomson had always been scolded by her in the past. The only time he seemed fierce in front of her was when she first brought Emma Smith to their villa in C City. She almost forgot that his usual warmth was because no one could cross his bottom line!
And now, his bottom line was a happy and united family – his wife, daughter, and son, all living peacefully!
Mrs. Smith wanted to say something, but Robert turned his head and looked at Thomas.
His voice became softer: "Tommy, you tell me, do you want to stay with your grandparents and father, or with me and your mother? You have to choose carefully. If you choose us, I promise I will protect you in the future."
Was there even a need to choose? Thomas immediately said, "I want mom, I want my sister."
Paul Edwards couldn't help but interrupt: "Tommy, but you will be bullied in the Thomson family!"
