It was not until they heard Thomas's weak voice from outside saying, "Mom, Mom, where are you?"
Emma replied, "In the room, come here."
Soon, the door was pushed open a little crack, and a little fellow with a chubby face walked in. He was wearing an Ultraman costume, and his hair was a mess because he had just taken an afternoon nap while they tidied up his little room.
"Mom." He saw Emma and happily ran over, pounced into her arms, and hugged her leg. Then he looked back and saw Grandma with a not-so-good expression on her face, and his voice lowered a little, "Grandma."
Emma touched his head, "Why didn't you rest?"
Thomas grinned, "Couldn't sleep."
Actually, it wasn't like that. He was a little particular about where he slept and couldn't fall asleep, so he happened to hear the argument between Emma and Grandma.
He is already five years old now, and has experienced a lot during this time. It can be said that he is more mature than the average child.
