Emma Smith nodded, and as they were talking, someone knocked on the door. Mrs. Smith asked, "Who is it?"
"Room service."
A man's voice answered from outside.
Mrs. Smith didn't suspect anything and opened the door, sure enough, a waiter entered. As soon as he entered, he pushed a small cart with what seemed to be dishes inside.
"These are three bowls of chicken soup with silver thread noodles, a complimentary offering from the hotel. All guests get it."
"Oh, alright, put it aside." Mrs. Smith said. Watching the waiter put down the dishes, she added, "This hotel's service is impressive, even offering guests food."
At these words, Emma suddenly had a thought.
It's true that some rooms come with food, but usually, it's a meal voucher, which guests must personally go to the dining room to use.
There's no way this type of meal service would be directly delivered to guests. Unless...
She said, "I'm actually a bit hungry. I didn't eat much at noon."
