Even though it didn't reach her mouth yet, Little Thomson didn't appreciate the effort. She clenched her fists and struggled vigorously. Robert was on the verge of going insane. Emma said, "Here, let me hold her while you prepare her milk."
He had never prepared milk for his daughter before. In the afternoon, Mrs. Smith was there, and she prepared the milk for the baby while he comforted her.
Now it was his turn, and he felt completely disorganized.
Robert glanced back at Emma, worried about her hand with the IV and her wounded abdomen, and hesitated, "Emma, how can you hold the baby now?"
"You can't hold her and make the milk at the same time. What if you accidentally scald her?" Emma reached out her hand: "Let me do it."
