It was just to sound a warning to Emma Smith - since Thomas wasn't a part of the Thomson Family, he naturally had no right to inherit the Thomson Family assets. He didn't want any disputes in the future, so it was better to bring up the issue early.
"Dad!" Robert wanted to argue, but Emma stopped him, shaking her head: "Robert."
Then, she looked at Alexander: "I agree. If one's conduct is honorable, they need not fear gossip; this child is Robert's after all, no matter how many tests are done. However, I will tell my daughter everything you're doing now, word for word in the future."
Oh, she even threatened him! Alexander nodded: "I'm not worried. This is being responsible to her and to Robert."
Emma stopped talking, but Robert said: "Didn't you just mention the marriage? So, we must wait for the paternity test results of the child to come out before we proceed?"
