Emma Smith, of course, also knew that once she married Robert Thomson, she couldn't continue to have the same kind of confrontational attitude she had with Avery Clark. She had originally thought that she would simply ignore Avery and treat her like air. After all, with Avery's personality, it was somewhat difficult to get along with her even if she tried.
"So, is it really okay to do this?"
"Don't worry." Robert Thomson laughed and said, "Just be like this, and leave the rest to me!"
At this point, Avery Clark finally arrived. She was yawning, obviously a little tired. She had played cards too late last night and was still experiencing some back pain.
Robert Thomson frowned, "Mom, why did it take you so long to arrive?"
