Clearly, although she appeared impartial, she actually sided with Victoria Edwards and Ella Martin. She wanted them to argue outside, so they wouldn't disturb the patient here. But once they left the room, whatever happened wouldn't be blamed on Paul Edwards or her, and she was happy to see that.
Obviously, Ella and Victoria also knew what she meant. They looked at her and said, "Emma Smith! If you have the guts, come out with me, don't affect my uncle's condition!"
Emma just laughed, "I'm not a man, so what guts do I need? Besides, you guys are here to visit the patient, and so am I. I brought Tommy with me. If you want to go out for some fresh air, go by yourselves, don't drag me into it!"
After saying this, she sat down on a nearby chair with a completely calm expression.
