Emma Smith furrowed her brows, initially feeling unhappy, but eventually realizing that Dylan King, as Thomas Smith's biological father, had the right to know his child's health condition.
Charles Lee smiled: "If I had known you were coming today, I wouldn't have pretended to be knowledgeable. This is Tommy's heart ultrasound, take a look."
Dylan King picked up the ultrasound and saw the image on it, and then listened to it with a stethoscope before exhaling: "He's okay now."
Tommy flexed his arms, posing like a bodybuilder, all the while sporting a "look how cool I am" expression.
Since Charles Lee had already made a conclusion earlier, Emma Smith did not have any strong reaction to King's words. She held Tommy's hand: "Then, Dr. Lee, we'll be going. Tommy, say goodbye to Dr. Lee."
"Goodbye Doctor Uncle!" Thomas Smith waved his little hand, and Dylan King stopped them: "Wait."
Emma Smith stopped in her tracks, and Dylan King said: "Dad wants to see Tommy."
