Thomas obediently called out, "Doctor Uncle."
"Ah, good kid." Although Charles Lee liked to gossip, he still had some basic morals. He quickly invited the two to sit down, "Come on, Tommy, let Uncle have a look." He took out his stethoscope and listened to Thomas's heartbeat through his clothes. Then he asked, "Is there any discomfort?"
Thomas shook his head, "No."
Charles Lee nodded, then prescribed several tests for her, including an ECG and ultrasound. He asked her to come back with the results.
Emma Smith thanked him and took Thomas downstairs. After completing the tests, she came back with the results. Charles Lee looked at the tests and was satisfied, "Although there's still a slight murmur in the heart, the recovery has been really good. Growth and development have not been affected. However, be careful and avoid strenuous activities."
Upon hearing Charles Lee say Thomas had recovered so well after the surgery, Emma breathed a sigh of relief. "Thank you."
