Emma Smith shook her head: "No. My brother-in-law and I... went to the same university, and he was my senior. I admit that I used to like him quite a bit. But it was just an unrequited crush, and neither of us ever confessed. After he got together with my sister, I didn't keep in touch with him."
"But his behavior doesn't seem to suggest that," David Thomson said seriously. "It seems that he still likes you, even now."
It was understandable for him to be suspicious, given how Dylan King had burst into the wedding that day, kneeling before her and asking her to give him a chance.
