Just as he hung up the phone, it rang again. Robert Thomson was really annoyed, grabbed the phone and yelled, "What else do you want?"
"Mr... Thomson." It was the trembling voice of the nanny, Auntie Garcia.
Robert paused for a moment and then asked, "What happened?"
"It's Tommy." The nanny touched the little boy beside her who had been holding back tears and continued, "He's been insisting that his mom is gone and doesn't want him anymore. Mr. Thomson, can you please..."
Robert glanced back at the hospital room where Emma Smith seemed to have just awakened and said immediately, "Wait a moment, I'll come back with Emma soon."
"Ah, okay." Auntie Garcia took a look at Thomas Smith. The child didn't cry but kept muttering that his mom didn't want him anymore. At first, she didn't really like this introverted little guy, but seeing him like this made her heart soften.
What a tragedy...
