Robert Thomson nodded: "Mhm." Then, he lowered his head to look at the documents.
Since Emma Smith had been a secretary before, she naturally wanted to help him: "Is there anything I can help with?"
"No need, there's a computer here, be careful of radiation." Robert, of course, pushed her away. Emma was a special person now, and he dared not be reckless.
"How about this, then, I'll help you organize the materials on hand." Emma sorted the things on his desk into different categories and quickly placed them properly. Robert didn't lift his head, looking at the documents in his hand and the computer screen, typing from time to time, obviously contemplating something.
When working, Robert was always strict and meticulous. He had high expectations for himself and others, always tough on himself. Seeing him work so hard, Emma felt a bit guilty.
